Adjusting the sound of the audio
To adjust the sound of a the audio using an equalizer:
The left-most sliders increase or decrease the bass, the right most sliders increase or decrease the treble, and the middle sliders adjust the mid-ranges, such as vocals. Audion will remember your preferred audio settings for the next time you use the program. Each control window can have a different equalizer or effect setting. Clicking the Reset button will move the sliders back to the default, neutral position. Audion also comes with a collection of built-in equalizer settings. Each one is designed to enhance a certain type of music; simply click on the "preset" pop-up menu in the Equalizer window to explore the available choices and load a preset. Let your ears be your guide, or use the settings as a starting point for your own favorite sound! Tip: Don't worry, the equalizer window scares even us. We recommend you use your ears as a guide while adjusting the sliders; don't worry about what all those numbers mean. |
